I watched Goodbye Lenin as part of a college class, what a strange premise, but a really great film!

The only movie on this list that I have heard of is Whale Rider, but I have not seen it. This list has some very intriguing choices.

I loved Whale Rider when I was little! Thanks for featuring it because I had totally forgotten about it until now! Need to go watch it again.

It’s one of my favourite NZ movies. I love the Maori culture and this film portrays it authentically.

I LOVE Priscilla! And I’ve got mad respect for the actors climbing up to the rim of Kings Canyon in high heels!! I’ve been up there myself and it was tricky enough in hiking boots as it’s ragged rock edges, loose stones and a lot of dirt and pretty much straight up.
